Our Facility
1600 Mills Cart Road in Salem, IL
Our growing campus is located at 1600 Mills Cart Road in Salem, IL. You can find us at the crossroads of Mills Cart and Airport Roads, very close to the Salem/Route 50 exit on I-57. [See a map.]
Although we still use our original building on Wednesday nights and for Youth services, our Sunday worship services outgrew that sanctuary some time ago - a great problem to have! For the time being, we set up in our gymnasium for our main worship service. Join us on the North side of the building where you'll be greeted by the smiling faces of our First Touch Ministries staff.
We are excited about our continued growth in 2018, as we are already pushing out the boundaries of this expanded, temporary sanctuary!
Our Services
Come join us in worship
Our main Sunday services start at 9:30 a.m. with our Sunday School classes for all ages, toddlers through adults, but feel free to join us at 9 a.m. for a light breakfast and brief time of fellowship!
After a short intermission as all the classes join the adults in the main sanctuary space, we kick off our main service at 10:40 a.m. with communal worship, singing, and praise. One of our pastors or other ministers will then share with us the day's inspired message, and we end with a time of prayer & reflection as God works on our hearts. It will likely be the one of the most lively worship services you’ve ever attended. We don’t believe that God is deaf, dull, or dead. You’ll hear great music, experience demonstrative worship through song, and anointed, powerful preaching from our pastoral staff.
Monday nights at 7 p.m., we join together for a time of corporate prayer in the original sanctuary.
We gather Wednesdays at 7 p.m. for our midweek Bible Study service in the original sanctuary, located on the South side of the campus. K.I.D.S. Church and Wee Worship meet during this time in the Gymnasium facility, so come a few minutes early to check your children in with our trained and vetted Children's Ministries staff. Just be sure and stop by to pick them up before you return home!
Other services and events are listed on our EVENTS page, so be sure and bookmark it to stay current on all the God is doing.
Of course, no calendar or schedule is more important than the sovereign move of God. Any time He wills to direct our services in a different direction, we are in complete agreement with Him!

Our Beliefs
What does it mean to be Apostolic?
To be apostolic is to be like the Apostles. The term "Apostles" refers the first-century church leaders whose lives and ministries were recorded in the New Testament Book of Acts. In Acts, certain attributes were used to describe the first century church and its leaders. If a characteristic, quality, or attitude defined the early church, we want the same to be present and active in our church.
We take the Word of God as it is, at face value. We do not add to or subtract from the Word, but accept what is written as the unchanging, always-relevant message of God.
- We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God (II Timothy 3:16).
- We believe that there is one true and living God (Ephesians 4:5; Deuteronomy 6:4), whose name is Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:9).
- We believe that God’s plan for salvation as recorded in the New Testament is still the plan for His people today: repentance, water baptism, and being filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:37-39; 8:16; 19:5).
- We believe that the evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues (Acts 10:45-46).
